1. Healthy Bars
Luckily, a lot of schools have banned crisps, chocolate and fizzy drinks from the school bag. However, a lot of ‘health’ bars still contain a high amount of sugar. Try source ones with as little ingredients as possible such as Nak’d. They are basically made of fruits and nuts smashed together and they taste delicious. They are also Wheat and dairy free and perfect for an 11 o’clock snack.
2. Crackers and Nutritious Spreads
For a light lunch, Nairn’s Oat Cracker Thins are a healthy and tasty option. These wheat-free crackers are great with healthy spreads such as Violife Vegan Cheese Spread, Tartex Organic Pate and Delphi Hummus, all of which can be found in our stores.

5. Stuffed Pittas
Stuff wholegrain pittas with ‘chickpea’ tuna. To make, smash some chickpeas with some Plamil egg free mayo and add some sweetcorn. Pop into to pitta with your little one’s favourite fresh veggies. We like it with some grated carrot and sliced avocado.
