Here at Pointy we’re always working on new ways to make your store more visible online. We’re excited to announce today that we’re launching a powerful new feature in partnership with Google, which helps local shoppers discover your store.
The new feature is called “See What’s In Store”. It’s a free service that enables you to display your full product catalogue and live inventory information right on the Google search page! Just link your Pointy account to Google with a few clicks, and your products will appear in the Google Knowledge Panel and via Google Maps.
If you’re based in the US, you can see it in action for Talbots Toyland, a Pointy user who has been trialing the feature:
“See What’s In Store” is a very easy way to help customers discover what you have in stock, and attract more footfall to your store. For our trial users, it’s proven to be an effective channel to attract more customers.
We’ve been working with Google on this for a long time, and Pointy is one of the only companies currently offering this service. It’s now available to all Pointy users in the US, Canada, UK and Australia.
To activate “See What’s In Store”, just log in to Pointy and look for the new “Link To Google” tab in your Pointy profile. If you’re not already on Pointy, you can get Pointy for your store. It’s very easy to get started.
